Can you rewrite this paragraph in good English? Thanks.? - حرية - 04-28-2014 11:18 AM

"I think most of us if not all of us heard a lot of stories of people got rejected when they applied for a new job, or even current employees fired just because of something they posted on Facebook or twitted something on Twitter"

I think that most of us, if not all of us, have heard a lot of stories of people who have been rejected when they applied for a new job. Or even current employees have be fired just because of something they have posted on social media sites, such as Facebook or Twitter.

I guess that is how I would write it in a more formal and correct English way?

"I think most, if not all, of us have heard many stories about people who were rejected when they applied for a new job. Or about employees who got fired over something they posted on Facebook or Twitter."

"Or" cannot be used to start a sentence.

Most of us have heard stories of people being rejected when applying for a job because an employer was able to view their Facebook and Twitter accounts. There are also instances where one has been fired because of what was posted by employee and viewed by the employer.
