I need help advertising my families restaurant. It is a fine dinning restaurant where the prices range from 20-35 dollars and our target market consists of people from ages 40 and up. We have a facebook account but I need other ideas to grow our business. Please and thank you.

Make a company website and sign up for Twitter. Make sure your page is on Yelp and can easily be located when searching online. Host nice live music - you could easily find jazz or classical musicians on Craigslist for a decent fee (some might even play for free).. live music always brings people in. Or other entertainment - trivia nights for example. Reach out to other local businesses and become affiliates with them - they advertise for you for free, you advertise for them for free. Offer deals/packages to big, local offices, for parties or get-togethers, etc.

Google local Maps pages are important for locals finding you on the internet, after confirming ownership through http://Google.com/placesforbusiness/ and a postcard some content work on the page they give you, along with your own business site and other business directory listing might help you appear on page 1 for searches of:
Restaurant, your city. those results with stick pin symbols in Google are places page results, not the addition details rolling over one shows. Yahoo and Bing have similar local pages for free.
