I need help with my tablet ASAP? - Gwenno - 04-28-2014 05:01 PM

Alright, I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 (the smaller one), I was having a bath yesterday morning(21/08/13) and I took the tablet with me because I enjoy listening to music while I bathe. I put the Samsung Tablet on the side of the bath(the corner) and did what I usually do, played the music and bathed. A little water got on it, next to the charger hole but I wiped it off and hoped to god it'd still work, which it did until a few hours later. I tried using it a little later on and it was fine in the start but now the Internet is refusing to work. It connects to my broadband but when I open an app i.e YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, it says that the tablet isn't connected to the broadband. I check the connection and it says I'm connected. I'm worried now and am unsure what to do. I have tried keeping it off all night, I've tried unconnecting then reconnecting but it still wont work. The app store also says that there's no Internet connection when there is. It charges fine and it stays on, apps open but they then say that I cannot use them because there's no Internet connection. My laptop connects to the Internet, so does my phone so it's definitely something wrong with the tablet. If anyone has had this happen to them before and has been able to fix it, please explain how? Or if not, would I be able to e-mail Samsung? What is their e-mail address? Would I have to phone them? I need help as soon as possible, thank you.

As your post states your in the UK I got the UK Samsung link for you.

You may need to take it in for repair but ask them. Samsung has helped me many times with my phone.

Now you know why Zip-Lock bags were invented (well that and fried chicken...).

Put the Tablet into a container of dry white rice for 3 days to try to suck ALL of the water out of it. Then, see if that fixes it. If NOT, take it into the Store where you bought it, and they can test it for you.

TIP: If permanently damaged, do NOT expect a free replacement.
