There are some free conference call providers but I'm wondering if it is safe and secure. What is the difference between free and with fee? Quality? Problems?

Google's Chrome Web Browser has an installable VoIP App called "Hangouts" that lets you conference call up to 9 other people, who also have Hangouts installed on their PCs, or mobile devices, and it IS free:

It is Google's answer to Skype which is being systematically destroyed by Microsoft, since they bought out Skype about 2 years ago.

TIP: If you want to conference with more than 10 people, you should include that critical INFO in your question.
