What is the best provider for unlimited home internet? - Korina Mills - 04-28-2014 05:13 PM

We want wi-fi for our apartment. No phone, no TV, just internet. I've been looking around and most providers require you to get a phone line or TV, or are not available in our area (which is ridiculous because we live in the middle of West LA). We just want internet Sad

Depends on if you want to go Cable or DSL.

DSL, ask for a dry loop (about 5$ a month extra)

I'm currently not using any TV providers myself. I have a second gen Apple TV Smile

I have 300gb bandwidth and use about 250gb a month. So if you want to go this route make sure to get allot of bandwidth and negotiate your rate. I pay 80$ a month.

* 300gb bandwidth up and down (25down and 10up)

I think 80$ a month is way to much, I'm looking at other providers which should save me 20-25 a month for the same plan.

Also use a good outdoor antenna and take advantage of OTA channels (Pure HD) and free. Smile I get 22 channels here. Who needs traditional cable anymore eh!
