Google Alert does not catch that and I can't spend my day on Hacker News!

You can use Yahoo! Pipes.
Browse Pipes and go through the RSS section.
I am sure you can find something to modify to your needs and you can put it onto your MyYahoo page if needed.

You can use HNWatcher to track keywords, and follow users on Hacker News. You can receive alerts by email when your keywords / topics appears in submissions and/or comments. http://www.hnwatcher.com
