whilst a web page is loading the download stops until the mouse is moved and it has to be kept moving

try deleting browsing HISTORY, CACHE, COOKIES or try reinstalling firefox
or MAYBE
the ghost of GOOGLE CHROME is stopping you from downloading any stuff from firefox. you better use GOOGLE CHROME.

Please press ctrl+Shift+delete then clear all history.
If the problem not solve, repair or delete that browser, then again the browser install again.
