to not get it right in the creation of the FB app so that Android users could edit page info, etc on Admin pages without having to download another app to edit the #@#%ing thing???

Coding apps is hard and sometimes there are bugs in the code. Sometimes newly implemented features in an application have unforeseen effects on other features in an application. Sometimes people do things and then later realize they made a mistake.
Idea! You should make a new Facebook app that gets everything right on the first try!

Actually dear,
it all were doing for some security region.
Sometime many feature within a single app will breakage some performance of the app.
So you just enjoy it . . .
