"Cross Promotion" would make it even better. Also try incorporating the social links in the sites that you're about to spend your time sufficiently.
Try creating the business cards holding the links of the social accounts and I was able to find a little views/likes been shared up.
Either of these could try extending your presence and links (vice-versa).

One way could be creating profiles in various social networking sites and then selling products and services out there. Hope this can work for you in getting relevant links.
