If you click on the wrench on the upper right and go to about google chrome it should tell you if yours is up to date at the bottom of the screen that pops up

Latest BETA: 5.0.335.0 Beta
U can always check if your chrome is up-to-date by clicking on settings(the wrench) on the right and selecting 'About Google Chrome'
