Why would you block somebody on Facebook? - Nikki - 04-28-2014 05:58 PM

I never had to block anyone. If anyone sends silly messages, I just stop replying, and they stop writing. If anyone posts stupid stuff I can put them in a group that I do not check. If I do not want them to see my things, I can edit privacy, mark them as acquantances, or unfriend them at the very extreme. Even if they threaten or make me scared, I would rather report them, tgen block them. If I think they could do something nasty, I rather them do it on the open and under their own name, rather then block them and risk naking them even angrier and then doing nasty things to me using a fake profile. So IDK, what would be ever a need to block someone? If you ever had a situation, please let me know. Just curious.

i think you know, because you just have those people who DON'T stop talking to you when you ask to. also for celebs it can be a good thing

Well maybe if they are mean or a jerk you might want to block them. One of my cousins posted/commented stuff on my page that was a little racist/sexist and my boss was seeing it on my feed! So I called my cousin and told him I was blocking him. Nothing against him, but I didn't want my boss to see things like that! It would hurt my reputation, and I don't want my boss to think I believe the same things he does! (once again, nothing against anyone!) Yea so hope that helps!!!
