Internet not connecting on desktop , but on lappy? - lowcast258 - 04-28-2014 06:02 PM
In the morning i was working on my desktop on my LAN, den windows suddenly installed sum updates. And after dat my net is not connecting on my desktop, but when i use it on my lappy it gets connected.
When i check the proporties of the LAN connection it shows that IPv4 and IPv6 do not have any internet connectivity
I tried re-installing the lan drivers they do not make any effect
I use a gigabyte G-41M Combo motherboard
Please help me Please.....

Check whether the desktop computer has a valid IP address(not 169.254.x.x). Check whether you're able to ping the Default Gateway and then to a website either with a hostname or with its IP.

dont do anything other than just go to ur network seting, select network , right click and repair it , window will solve all problem automatically , its happen due to crash or IP changes nothing to worry , use repair option ,
