Why is my Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Adapter's Internet Connection conflicting with my normal Internet connection? - Lunar Guy - 04-28-2014 06:41 PM

I'm getting really frustrated over this, and I want to know if anyone out there has been experiencing the same problem I have been experiencing...

Whenever I try to install (or reinstall) my Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, it sets up a Local Area Connection with limited connectivity, and I cannot connect to the Internet through any browser or through the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. I have to uninstall it in order for my normal Internet connection to work...

Can anyone help me? If you need more information, I'll give it to anyone that needs it to help me out.

Note: I have a 2Wire 1701HG Gateway, but I cannot connect to that. (If anyone can help me connect to my 2Wire 1701HG Gateway, I'd greatly appreciate it. If I can do that, I can get rid of my USB Connector and never worry about using it again. Smile )

Try disabling Internet connection sharing on the advanced tab of the shared connection hitting OK then enable it. This is after you have it installed and your browser isn't working. If the windows firewall is on make sure the wi fi adapter is allowed. Worked for me after Nintendo told me it wouldn't work and to take it back. Been flawless since.
