We have bt infinity 2.0 and the wireless connectivity is an issue for us sometimes......? - Vanita - 04-28-2014 06:53 PM We also have a wireless booster which we bought recently and improves the connection sometimes but ultimately theres still a wireless connectivity problem. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! - Southpaw - 04-28-2014 06:55 PM You will only get maximum speed on BT Infinity if you use a cabled connection as that is what it was designed for. If you use a wifi connection then the speed will likely be halved. Your wifi can possibly be improved though, have a read of Tony Northrups excellent article; http://aspenitcouk.wordpress.com/2013/05/17/10-tips-to-help-improve-your-wireless-network/ Otherwise you can look into powerline adapters which may work a little bit better than a wifi connection; http://www.frequencycast.co.uk/powerline.html Then buy them from the cheapest reputable site. That is about all the options available to you as far as I can see. Regards, ex BT Bob. |
