It may or may not block the glee ads, not sure until you try it.
what i think will happen is during ad brakes you will see a black screen with a count down, this is just because the ads can't be played but you still have to wait the same length of ad brake time.
Hulu plus shouldn't be giving you ads though, because isn't HULU PLUS a payed subscription.
I know Hulu.com is ad based but the Plus service shouldn't be showing ads.
