Seems like an easy way to start an online store, the downside for consumers, there may be no business domain name or history proving their credibility of these small time operators. Going through Amazon might be a bit safer.
Canada based? shopify is 8 1/2 years old.

Apparently they are looking great with some extra innovative ideas that can be perfect for any online store. But I personally didn't heard much about Shopify within my friend's circle.
