How can I get Tuvaro off my computer? - hissingcherry955 - 04-28-2014 07:08 PM

Im trying everything here and nothing is working. I tried deleting it off my computer by going to "my computer" and then "uninstall/change a program" and it wasn't there in the list of programs. So its hiding.. lol. But anyways, I also downloaded a program that was supposed to take off Tuvaro and I thought it worked because I opened up my browser which is Google chrome and it wasn't there anymore. But today when I got onto my computer and opened it up, Tuvaro is on there once again. :l Im pretty sure this is a virus because it's acting very much like one. Tuvaro also comes up on my Mozilla Fox browser too -_-
Someone help me please.

If you don't already have it, download Microsoft security essentials (it's free) and run a scan with that. It should come up with several different actions, click remove and then it should be gone. If you want to do it manually, go in to My computer, and search for Tuvaro. It should come up with a folder, open the folder and there should be an 'uninstall.exe' file or something similar in there. Run that, make sure you don't accidentally install any other malware in the uninstall wizard and then it should be gone.

Here's a complete removal guide of Tuvaro (both toolbar & search):

Follow the steps as stated in the page & hope the junkware (it's a browser hijacker) will go for good.

Chances are this is a piece of malware, a virus. You may have todownload ad-aware, or spybot search & destroy which both have free versions
