formatting features do not work when composing an email - no emoticons, bullets, numbering, etc.? - Shelia J - 04-28-2014 07:14 PM

i use google browser to access my yahoo email account. when i compose an email the formatting features do not work - emoticons, bullet list, number list, and other features. then i switched to IE, still can't use these features. I use windows 7, 64-bit. what's the problem. thanks

I know some of the formatting toolbar features don't work correctly with IE 11, but I am surprised that you have this problem on Google Chrome. Open Google Chrome, click the Customize and Control icon (3 black horizontal bars)>Tools>Extensions and disable any extensions you added (or inadvertently added).
You can also try using Yahoo Mail on Firefox (you are running out of browsers).
Good luck.
