I made a page recently on facebook on comic strips and i started posting comic strips of garfield and Dilbert on my page. My frind told that it might be illlegal to do so... so i wanted to inquire about it! can anybody help?

I would say you're friend is right. The only way you would be able to legally post those comic strips on Facebook is if you actually get permission from the authors. I did this a paper similar to this, where a person posted Dilbert comics on his website. The author sued the person, telling him to take the website down.

Yes, it is illegal to post such things. You will have to acquire a geniune licenses from publisher for posting that content.

yes it is illegal if you dont get permission from the author respect the law
