I am a 16 year old guy and not on Facebook. No, I'm not an introvert, far from it actually LOL. Recently my friends have been badgering me to join Facebook, and I have been very resistant to the idea for a few reasons. I am afraid that it will be too time-consuming, that it will detract from the amount of quality time I spend with people, that I will become a serious "over-sharer", and that it will bring in unwarranted drama. Is it weird for someone my age not to be on Facebook? Are my fears unfounded? Aside from connecting with people, what reasons are there for a guy like me joining Facebook? BTW, I am also terrified I will become addicted to Facebook games LOL.

hmmmm Facebook isn't all that popular with folks <25 years old now. Tell your friends to catch up with the times. Twitter and snapchat is where it's at.

If you haven't joined, stay away from it, you don't need it, and your real friends will understand.
