Its not necessary that your domain registration and hosting service from same company.
Domain registration and hosting both are different services.
You can have host on godaddy and domain name anywhere else.
you just need to Update your DNS (domain name server) to your Domain panel.

No, I would advise you to register on Godaddy and find your hosting company elsewhere, simply because there are lots of great hosting providers. You can make your business promotion website with us as well. Good luck!

You can't host a Wix website elsewhere (such as on GoDaddy) as Wix requires you to host a Wix website with them. It is an included service. You can see some points on this if you go to this page here and look under the hosting section - http://www.websitebuilderexpert.com/wix-review/
