Hiding info from stalkers.
Tried using Privacy Settings. Nothing seems to work

Go to your privacy settings and turn off updates. You can either show your updates to only your friends or have it turned off completely. Your wish.

I have a bad news for you. Since the last changes in December 2009 your list of friends and the pages you are fan of are part of what is treated as public information.
This means that you cannot hide them. You can make it difficult to see your list of friends to strangers by clicking on the pencil that is at the right top of your list of friends in your profile, but that's it. There's a lot of people complaining about this.
