For some reason, google chrome keeps opening in a chrome os thing. I have windows 8.1, but this usually didn't happen. How do i turn it off
i do click it on my desktop

that because its the new interface for metro style for Windows 8.1.
to get the regular google chrome you have to log onto your windows desktop.
don't click on google chrome on the metro styled upstart screen. go to the regular desktop instead.
