I would like to know what would make my internet connection to yahoo as my home page, run slow.I also sign in yahoo for my email and that is very slow.
I have had my computer checked out so I know it's not that. The other source could be my internet provider but don't know how to determine which it is. Can you make a suggestion on how to fix this or what to look at?

It is probably your service provider. It depends on the plan you have.

GOOD LUCK!!! I have tried everything to email yahoo and nothing works. I believe that's why they have this question - answer site, they hope everyone else can do their job!
