POLLS: Do you hate banwagons? - FilipinoKid15 - 04-28-2014 08:44 PM

I'm not saying all, but most females are bandwagons. ex. I followed my sisters friends on Twitter and when the Seahawks won they started tweeting about how happy they were, then they were exposed by people asking them questions, like who won the last super bowl or who are the sea hawks defensive coordinator... they were bummed

same thing when my Raptors won females and males just hopped on the bandwagon while they were talking shit about them when they lost and never made the playoffs last season but I then asked them who's their current coach, whats their leader averaging... they were stumped. I think its a disrespect to sports thinking you know what you know but really don't.

I hate elitists more.

Ugh, that's right, because if a woman likes anything "manly" it must be because she's trying to be cool. God forbid she actually like something or have thoughts of her own. Surely women are only able to copy men. Great.

No.

I'll just use your example about sports teams. It can be very exciting when you're swept up in something like that, and can birth a passion in you that wasn't there before. I really don't see the problem of someone learning a love for a team or sport, or show/movie/comic/book because they learned to love it through a wave sweeping popularity that exposed them to it.

This is how most people get into the things they love. I think it's a bit snobbish to turn your nose up at them because of that.

Yeah, like all the people going to see divergent or w/e. Not going to. Everyone else is excited. Kind of like the hunger games. Same with john green books. Not my thing.

Who gives a fuck? They're allowed to like a certain team.

- Mastercrate632 - 04-28-2014 09:06 PM

Yea! Everything about them is fake!

Yes. I wanted to see Divergent, but now with everyone else wanting to see it it's just not the same.

Being a bandwaggoner just takes away from the sport itself. I'm a Toronto Raptors fan, I live in Canada but mainly my dad got me into it and even if they've had a rough few years I've always watched. Those are the trials and tribulations of being a fan. You watch for the plays, for the atmosphere, for the wins and heart breaks. It is a bit disrespectful in a way but you can't avoid them..
