use wind data stick as a usb wifi connection? - Amateurlock937 - 04-28-2014 08:55 PM

Hello. If found many questions on how to make it a router. I don't need this lol I'm wondering if I can turn my wind data stick into a usb wifi connection...to connect to any other internet signal I choose. For egsample my cellphones tethered wifi signal. I'm a techy kind of guy so reprogramming, moddint and anything else I can do. All options open.wind only provides 10g dl per month.....gayyy

If your phone has a data plan that "allows" it to be used as a WiFi hotspot or for tethering (USB cable) you would either need to use the USB cable to your phone (and USB driver from your phone manufacturer) or some WiFi device on your computer.

A mobile data dongle is not going to work for WiFi (different frequencies and hardware).
