Hello all! I'm a software developer, and my friend ran into a problem with facebook chat (and I'm obviously the one that has to solve it).
I've posted a bug report to fb, but there's a chance it might be simpler then this and I just don't see it.
She can't receive or send any messages (inbox or chat alike). When she tries to send, she get's "Error: please try again later", when she should receive, she gets nothing.
What I did to check what's happening:
I tried sending a message using:
-chat
-inbox
-external mail (to their IMAP (if I remember correctly) server)
after that I looked extensively through google and their bug database.
having found nothing, I checked that her browser version and network were allright (no need for details).
In this case there's a good chance it's some sort of internal error in fb server, but once again, I may be mistaken.
Anyone ever encounter/fix this?
Facebook haven't done anything in the that whole time, so I'm thinking it might be some bug they can't find... great. If only they opened source (LOL).

Yes, it must be a internal problem, solved by facebook.
