How long does "for some time" mean? - 197 - 04-29-2014 01:30 AM

Okay so today, my boyfriend has gotten his phone taken away. He dm'd me on Twitter saying his dad is keeping it "for some time". How long does that generally mean?

He may relent in a couple of weeks. If not, you two will probably find a way to communicate.

In this case, Indefinitely. In general, longer than zero seconds. It's meant to be vague.

For a while. usually more than both you and your bf would like his father to hold on to it.
