How do I get my mom to stop stalking my facebook page? - Why are you reading this - 10-15-2012 09:25 PM

My mom stalks my facebook page 24/7. I don't have anything to hide, I just want her to back off a bit. I am a very trust worthy person, I get straight A's and I would never friend someone I don't know. My mom checks facebook like 100 times a day and she even gets notifications on her phone whenever I post something. She is even friends with some of my friends from school. Whenever they post something that she doesn't like, she will give ME a lecture. It makes me feel like she doesn't trust me. I am very safe on the internet as well. I don't play any of the games on facebook, or take any of the quizes. My Grandpa and Grandma also moniture my facebook, but of course, they don't do it as much as my mom. One day, I created another facebook account that my mom didn't know about. Soon enough, I had to delete the account because my mom was starting to realise what was going on. Facebook is becoming less fun because I know that my mom is watching me. Sometimes I consider stopping facebook all together. But at the same time, I enjoy talking to my friends on there. None of my friends famillies stalk their accounts!!

If i we're you i would block her. Then if she asks you why you did it you tell her why it bothers her so much. Maybe because shes stalking so much, that is exagerating she should trust you more teach her a lesson i would be piseed off

You were dumb enough to tell her about facebook lol. I guess you'll have to deal with it.

You can always block your mom or you can delete her. Then that way, she wont be able to bother you. You can try telling her but I doubt that will work.

It is a serious problem these days, its like zombie apocalypse and is spreading though there's only one social site free from it i.e twitter, i think you should not use much facebook and turn to twitter more, i am pretty sure its better than facebook....

but if you are stuck with facebook, i think you should block your account from your mom's account and block other random people, so that if she asks you tell her that her account might have been hacked...

...
hope it works

remove her as a friends and make sure only friends can see your profile.
