I know it's almost impossible to completely forget a person, but I want to forget a guy who is clearly no longer interested and who meant so much to me.
How does one go about forgetting someone? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Rachel you cannot just forget about someone.
The best you can do is try and focus on other things, hobbies, other interests you had before?
Thats kind of thing.
Oh, not good to do rebound forgetting, been there, doesnt work well.

Don't delete their number, but delete there text conversation, message on fb, dm on twitter conversation! Whenever you start thinking about him. STOP. And make yourself busy, paint your nails...go for a run...watch tv, but don't think about him! It takes a while and you won't suddenly forget him but I was shocked at my reaction after doing that for a few weeks, the need to talk, think about him was gone! Good luck

Theres no mystical cure-all but what would help is to disassociate things with your ex. You listened to similar music, watched similar movies, etc, before them and can after. Keep yourself busy and get back to doing the things you enjoy. No reason to mope about. You're young yet and will meet others for sure
