What does this guy mean about this song lyric he put on Facebook. If it means anything. He put When i'm old and wise, heavy words that tossed and blew me, like autumn winds will blow right through me, and someday, in the midst of time, when they ask me if i knew you, I'd smile and say you were a friend of mine. what does he mean by this song lyrics?

It means things that people say now that hurt him won't matter when he is old. It also references a lover of some kind who may be important to him now but it clearly isn't working out but when he is old it won't matter because he will have moved on by then and the importance of that person will have been lost with age.
