Hello Dear...
Most of the positions for SEO will be filled by consultancies as contract jobs. After some years based on your performance you will become permanent employee. If you would like to join directly you need to do Google certification which will be added advantage, find openings in Google, and have to attend 6-8 rounds of interview. You need to qualify in all the rounds.

Meenu, google need not to do any SEO as it itself is a no. 1 search engine in the world, which writes the rules of SEO.

update your Resume regularly one fine day they (Google SEO Team) will call you for interview.. Then you need to face 10 Rounds then you in Google..
