I don't have a Facebook, but hear all the things people use them for and wonder if any of it could be considered useful, therapeutic, etc...

I do not use facebook. Specifically, what do I write about? My life is average, routine. People reading about me would be bored to tears!! After my first page, then write about what? I went to see Batman 37?

But then again, that would be cool. Bring on Superman 14, and so on. Love movies.

I have a Facebook page; however, I do not use it. A study shows that Facebook users actually face depression. One reason is that they are jealous of the activities, fun, etc. of their friends. One begins to realize how much boredom is in their life. Other uses can be to obtain family photos, look up old friends, spy on people, and play video games.

My kids do Facebook. My daughter is amazed how good it is at finding lost pets, getting the word out for dangerous weather and garnering assistance for tragedy. She doesn't post everything she does like a lot of other people do. I think it's misused as a whole, but it does do some good.

My blogs are connected to Facebook, so people are exposed to spiritual teachings and encouragement.
