I understand that yahoo needs to put dds on the e-mail site. But how do I stop them from showing up( esp flashing) on top of EACH e-mail? I can't even see my whole e-mail. It's very annoying and I'm not willing to pay for that.Thanks

This Firefox add-on does exactly that. Just install:
Yahoo Mail Hide Ad Panel (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/yahoomailhideadpanel/ )
If you don't have the Firefox Browser (which you should use anyway for all browsing), you can download and install it from here:
