Depressed after FB unfriending? - 204 - 05-02-2014 03:18 AM

I got unfriended and blocked by a 'friend'. I was new to FB and hit the 'Like' button too many times on their photos, I posted a How We Met piece that was critical of my friend on my original first impressions but was very glowing and complimentary for 95%. I also messaged that I was depressed.....I guess I was clueless about FB. I regret all these mistakes and want to be friends again. I'm very depressed by it.
I know this friend in real life and see him several times a week. I have no strangers as friends. I told him I was depressed (nothing to do with Facebook). The unfriending came after that....but this has added to my depression.

I think you might have creeped them out a little.

Honestly there is more to life than facebook, it's old hat anyway, I opened an account once and then realised that it's like watching paint dry but also that many on there make big mistakes about the kind of things they post so I closed it down and moved on.

I quite like yahoo!

And once again, even after saying your learned from your mistakes, you are here telling strangers that you are depressed.

Dude...it's Facebook! People will friend and unfriend at the drop of a hat. If you know this person in real life, talk to him and tell him you're sorry if you offended him and ask if he will add you again. If you don't know him in real life, forget about it!

Facebook drama is no reason to be depressed.
