How can you copy a .gif moving image? - T.J. Aston - 05-02-2014 08:55 AM

I want to copy an image like this: http://i.minus.com/ibc2txIiIfm9wT.gif to a different web page, but if I click copy or save image I get one still frame. Is there a way to get the whole thing?

Are you making sure that when you save the image it is saving under .gif ? I use to have that same problem until I noticed they weren't saving under .gif.

Save the file > Control Panel/Default Programs/'change a file association or protocol'/Scroll down to .GIF, and hightlight it, to then click the "Change" button, and choose the browser, (like Internet Explorer.)

Basically you'll want to open the .gif in your browser once its downloaded, due to the fact that windows natively or more specifically windows picture viewer doesn't support .gifs

You can also try to download third party software such as "Windows 7 Gif Viewer" to open .gifs.
Download "Windows 7 Gif Viewer" here http://www.goofwear.com/windows/downloads/index.php?dir=&file=Windows%207%20Gif%20Viewer.exe

Goodluck!
