How can I disable ad-text? - Max - 05-03-2014 04:16 AM

Ad-text have become so prevalent and extreme, it is now a chore to even read my email. Almost every page I visit or email I open contains these ad-texts. All the ones I have seen or more accurately been ambushed with, was totally irrelevant to the subject of the text I was reading.
Is there a way to disable this.

You need to clarify where these ads are occurring, is it in Gmail?

Using a paid email service or your own ISP mail typically eliminates revenue earning additions free services add. Google actually reads you mail to try to present the most relevant ads.

If you're Yahoo user when you upgrade to Yahoo Plus (about $20-25 per year) ads will be disabled. Same is for Hotmail too - if you pay ads are gone.

Google users are out of luck because ads can't be disabled. This feature exist only for business or education users
