Google Chrome and Spybot scan? - tigerchick411 - 05-03-2014 06:45 AM

Has anyone else had the problem of Google Chrome showing up as spyware/adware when running a Spybot S&D scan? It shows all these different cookies and stuff, lots of them(??) I normally use Safari, but have had other browsers as back up, or just to change it up. But why would it be showing up in the Spybot scan? Everything else works great, and I've never had an issue with performance issues with that browser, so what's up with that?Undecided

Spybot S&D detects tracking cookies if you haven't deleted them. It's not a problem to be concerned about. I use Spybot S&D as a stand alone back up scanner along with a couple of others and never had a problem with Google Chrome cookies. Google Chrome old insecure versions which don't get removed by Google's update process - yes, I have a problem with that!
