tumblr users: where do you guys get your layouts/themes? - . - 05-03-2014 11:29 PM
I've been scouring google for ages trying to find a site with a good variety of layouts but I haven't really found any I like. Cherrybam is okay but I find the image sizes are too small on most of their layouts. Same with dolliecrave.
I'd like to be able to choose my background pattern and my general layout. Can anyone recommend some sites?

For my layouts, I mostly just use the free ones tumblr provides in the customize panel and change the colors and fonts and simplify it a bit.
There are lots of people who make layouts that arent listed there though, I don't know exactly where to find them BUT if you go to someone's blog and they have a layout you like, the person who made it is usually credited somewhere. Usually at the bottom, or on the sidebar if there is one. (If they're not credited, hopefully you can ask the person who made the layout...)
If you really want to customize your layout yourself, learning CSS can help you out here. You don't need to learn much if you just want to change colors and fonts or image
(Probably the easiest option is finding someone whose layout you like and asking them about it/looking for the credits)
