Firefox or Chrome is a better alternative and they take care of nasty pop-ups for you.

I always use Chrome but I found that the same problem occurred quite often, especially when I was watching movies online. What you might want to do is download the Adblock Plus application and it will keep your browser intact from add, pop-ups and those random viruses that make you think your computer is in danger.

You can pick your browser between the following choices: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Android, Safari and Opera.

1. go to mozilla.com
2. click where it says free download of firefox.
3. Follow the instructions and Enjoy!!!
OR!
1. go to google.com/chrome.
2. Click where it says "download chrome".
3. Follow the instructions to install and enjoy!

You can try this way to stop the pop-ups: 1) click Start> control panel>Programs and Features> search for the related program and uninstall it 2) clear the browsing history 3) search for related files on C drive and remove all of them.
