Thats Probably a Error With the Messenger App Check and See if There Are Any Updates Available if There is Any Install Them Other Then That You Cant Fix it This is Something the Facebook Team has to Look Into and Fix
Please Contact Facebook At The Help Center and Report the Problem To Them

Don’t worry dear,
May be it is some technical issue, so you just wait for some time and then try again,
if issue will remain then going to help option and write this to Facebook,
they sure provide you help quickly.
