I bought a domain http://www.tiffcity.com and have posted it for USD 50 on sale on godaddy.com is it worth the price. Has anyone sold or bought domain names suggest better ways in dealing with buying and selling domain names

Domains must have unique qualities to sell more than the standard $12 or so standard price, did you indeed just create tat name? It seems too specialized to attract much bidding, perhaps someone named tiffany might be interested. If it were years old, or had links to or page rank it from when it was used on a web site it mat be worth more than the standard price.
Don't expect to be able to create a new name then profit by reselling it the next day, speculators will find dropping names of equality quality but an established history that makes them more valuable for SEO purposes.
