You don't ask people to follow you. Is it desperation? Not trying to sound mean but I wouldn't ask people to follow me. It depends on who you follow or what you tweet about. I'm on twitter but I don't ask people to follow me. Also, don't waste your time of Yahoo Answers asking this question. Other than me, you probably wouldn't get any responses.
