what does this person mean who answered my question? - 126 - 05-07-2014 10:09 AM

I asked a question saying justice is done because it's what this boy put on facebook and i said he's not religious and this person answered and said

it means someone he's annoyed at received something unfair and he thinks its good

What does this person mean who answered my question?

The person means that the "boy on facebook" is engaging in Schadenfreude a feeling of joy over somebody else's misfortune. The "boy" is happy because somebody else who did a bad thing to him has suffered some kind of injury or loss. So he thinks that justice has been done, in that the person who harmed him (the "boy") has now himself received some harm.

I have no idea if that's what really happened, but that's what the "person" who answered you was saying.

Will you please put forth more information on the above question. What do you want to ask? And who is this boy on facebook? If you can just make the question more detailed, I hope I can answer your question.

I couldn't have said it better than Alsergrund, so I won't try!

"Justice is done" means exactly that: someone has been rightly or fairly punished in some way for something bad that they have done.
