Annoying google chrome bar? - 693 - 05-07-2014 04:29 PM I got this annoying bar like 10 minutes ago on google chrome: http://imageshack.us/f/834/googlechromeannoyingbar.jpg/ how can i remove it? Solved, a couple of minutes ago, anyway thanks for your responses! - maxgt1 - 05-07-2014 04:41 PM uninstall it in add/remove programs or programs and features, depending on your os. next time you install anything check on each page what you are installing don't just keep clicking next. - Brian - 05-07-2014 04:55 PM Sounds like you may have installed an application, that installed this annoying Add-on to Google Chrome. Try going here in Google Chrome: (where you would type in a web address) chrome://extensions/ I'm not sure the name of that bar, but you should see something that you can remove here. Uncheck the box, and restart your browser, and see if that goes away. - Jenny - 05-07-2014 05:06 PM do you know the name if the toolbar? if yes, then you can go to control panel and remove it from there. On Windows Xp: Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and select the toolbar and uninstall it. On Windows Vista: Start > Control Panel > Programs & Features > select the toolbar and uninstall it. Hope this is helpful. If the above steps don't help, then you can do a system restore. Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore Choose a date before today and proceed with the restore. Reboot machine and reproduce the issue. All the Best!!! Regards Jen |
