uninstall it in add/remove programs or programs and features,
depending on your os.
next time you install anything check on each page what you are installing don't just keep clicking next.

Sounds like you may have installed an application, that installed this annoying Add-on to Google Chrome.

Try going here in Google Chrome: (where you would type in a web address)

chrome://extensions/

I'm not sure the name of that bar, but you should see something that you can remove here.

Uncheck the box, and restart your browser, and see if that goes away.

do you know the name if the toolbar? if yes, then you can go to control panel and remove it from there.

On Windows Xp:
Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and select the toolbar and uninstall it.

On Windows Vista:
Start > Control Panel > Programs & Features > select the toolbar and uninstall it.

Hope this is helpful.

If the above steps don't help, then you can do a system restore.

Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
Choose a date before today and proceed with the restore.
Reboot machine and reproduce the issue.

All the Best!!!
