I'm preferably looking for hip-hop/rap new music releases. It'd be nice if there was an app that gives you notifications right on your phone, for dates on new upcoming album releases.
If there's not an app, is there a twitter or blog you can subscribe to that emails you of new releases?
Does anybody know a great site or something, that can do this?

I also like indie, or alternative. That'd be great as well. Either or. Or even better, both that *and* rap/hip-hop. If that even exists, haha.

Join your favourite musicians fan club and you will get notifications about tours, sales in their online stores, new music, and more news. You just need to put the musician's name into Google and follow that with Official Website and you will be able to join online through their site.
