Facebook privacy? - Paul - 05-07-2014 11:43 PM

Hi,

Is there anyway i can secure my facebook account,so when anyone clicks on my account, that unless they are friend all they will see is my profile picture?

Just now strangers can see my favourite films, books, music,tv shows etc.

Basically i dont want anything to be visible to strangers except my name and profile picture. Only once i have added some 1 as a friend do i want them to be able to see my films, music, books,tv shows etc

cheers

Yes there is something like that.
Go to settings>privacy

Then for every option saying who can see this: Enter Friends Only (Friends of friends if you want).
You can block people who you don't want to interact with you.

you:Enter Friends Only or Friends of friends if you want.you can unfriend and block those friends which you did not need.

Use Your Privacy Settings and Set Each Item To Friends Only Go to Settings For Some Privacy Settings and For Others Use the Lock Button on the Upper Right Side of the Screen

For Movies and Books and Things Like That In Each Section When you Edit it you Will See a Box With People on it Click on it and Set it to Friends Only

For Pictures

Go to your Picture Album Page Under Each Album Click on the Box And Set it to Friends Only

(Please Note Cover Photos By Default is Public You Can Not Make That Private)

Profile Pictures you Can Only Set Individual Pictures to Private you Cant Make the Whole Album Private
