What does deactivating fb do? - DeweyWatermelon - 05-08-2014 12:43 AM

What is it for? I know your information are still there if you want to go back into fb, but what does it actually do anyway? Is it that your friends just can't write on your wall? Does your friend know you've deactivated your profile? Will they still see your pic on their friend's list? Will they see your profile while deactivated? Can people still send you messages? What happens to your search, does your pic show up during a search while deactivated? I know so much questions, but answer generally how you can. Thanks!

it means you get frozen...no one can see you, your pictures or friends.. i... you wont lose your friends or pictures or any saved info. it will be frozen only.... if you activate your account again it will be the same as when you left before the deactivation

You'll be frozen if you deactivate your FB. Nobody can see you, find you. They can't see you on their friend list, it just gone... and of course people can't send you messages. In short, it's like you never have a facebook account. But, if you activate your account again, all of your data will comeback
