The most used browser is Google Chrome. The most used search engine is Google Search. Email service is Gmail. It goes on.

Who would pay to rewire the entire world? Have you any idea of the costs involved ?

All of Google services run successfully on the current internet. Why replace something which works well and doesn't need replacement?
Google does things for market gain, or to fill a void in the internet where something doesn't exist that needs to. This would not satisfy either of those requirements.

Not everyone just uses google. Some people use Google and Bing. Or Gmail and Yahoo email.
There's no need to do that. Just make Google your default system and you'll be fine.
