Selling something on ebay? - Andy - 05-09-2014 01:08 AM

Hi selling something that I bought for example headphones. If a buyer has my product how does the warranty system work does he have have my name for the warrantee to work.

Most warranties are only good for the original purchaser.

- Amy - 05-09-2014 01:17 AM

once you sell it, the warranty usually becomes invalid.

What Warranty ?

- Jo W - 05-09-2014 01:29 AM

The original warranty lapses when the item is sold on. That's why ebay has introduced its own warranty offering.

Some warranties are transferable and manufactures may provide online links to transfer Ownership so buyers can use their locally Authorized Service Center, read manufactures warranties for details.

Otherwise as long as you list the item as "used", most buyers will not expect a warranty unless note by you.
